Rainforest Jasper Necklace

This stunning Rainforest Jasper has been captured in a reclaimed copper freeform weave. The copper has been left to patina naturally, which brings out the great orange colours in the stone. The pendant measures 2.25" long by 1.25" wide and hangs from a tan-coloured reclaimed leather braid that is 24" long.

Rainforest Jasper is a kind of Rhyolitic lava that can be found in volcanic areas and is also known as Rhyolite. Rainforest Jasper is said to contain the spiritual teachings of nature and is often used during earth healing rituals. Its energy strengthens the physical body and calms emotions. It also has the ability to restore one's faith, creating a vibration of love and peace.

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channeling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid in tissue repair, blood support, and increasing vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, in support of my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
