The Starburst Jasper gemstone is captured in a 20g and 22g copper wire weave that leaves most of the face of the stone exposed for perfect viewing. The copper weave is patinated and polished to a high shine. The pendant is 2.25" tall by 1" wide, unisex, and eco-friendly too!
Starburst Jasper is a striking and rare variety of jasper known for its radiating, sunburst-like patterns. The starbursts form during the cooling of volcanic magma as iron and manganese inclusions spread outward and the crystals align themselves into star-shaped patterns. - Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling and grounding and, thus, is considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission: "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
