2026 Gentle Beginnings and Little Miracles

2026 Gentle Beginnings and Little Miracles

Happy New Year tribe!
May the coming months be gentle, joyful, and full of little miracles you didn’t even know you needed. ❤️

As we step into 2026, Mother of Metal is moving forward with intention—slowly, thoughtfully, and rooted in reconnection. This year isn’t about doing more for the sake of it. It’s about doing what matters, in ways that are sustainable for both body and spirit.

Here’s where I’m guiding things next.

Weekly Affirmations as Mindfulness Practice

Words matter. What we repeat becomes the ground we stand on.

In 2026, weekly affirmations will be a core offering at Mother of Metal! These aren’t meant to overwhelm or become another daily “should.” Instead, they’re designed as a steady, supportive rhythm—something you can return to throughout the week as an anchor.

These affirmations are:

  • tools for mindfulness training

  • reminders to reconnect with yourself

  • gentle support when life feels loud or uncertain

Paired with gemstones and intentional design, they’re part of a holistic approach to mindful living—small practices that quietly add up to meaningful change. They will show up on all the socials every Thursday morning, so be sure to follow me there as well.

Strengthening Connection Through Email

I’m continuing to grow my email list in 2026, and I want to be transparent about why.

Email is where real connection happens—beyond algorithms and disappearing posts. It’s a space for slower communication, shared reflections, and first access to what’s being created in the studio.

If you’re on the list, you’ll receive:

Think less “newsletter,” more “intentional correspondence.”

Focusing on Online Sales & Custom Work (With Care for My Body)

Another important shift this year is a stronger focus on online sales and custom orders. (like this tree topper!)

As I get older and live with arthritis, how I use my hands—and where I spend my energy—matters more than ever. Creating from my home studio allows me to work at a sustainable pace, listen to my body, and continue making heirloom-quality pieces without burning myself out.

Custom work remains especially close to my heart. These collaborative pieces—created with your story, intention, and chosen stones—are meant to be worn as talismans, not trends.

My online shop makes it easier to explore, connect, and find the piece that’s calling to you.

Being More Selective With In-Person Shows

You’ll still see Mother of Metal out in the world—but more intentionally.

In 2026, I’ll be more selective about where and when I appear in person, choosing shows that feel aligned, accessible, and worth the energy they require. This allows me to show up fully when I do attend—and to preserve my ability to keep creating long-term.

Less hustle. More presence.

Gentle Momentum for the Year Ahead

If I had to name the energy of 2026, it would be gentle momentum.

Growing thoughtfully.
Creating sustainably.
Honouring craftsmanship, mindfulness, and meaningful connection.

Thank you for being here—for supporting handmade, eco-conscious jewelry, and for valuing art created with intention.

Here’s to a year of reconnection, steady practices, and little miracles—exactly when we need them.

💚 I’d Love Your Voice in This

Mother of Metal has always been shaped by community, and I’d love your input as we move through 2026.

Reply to this email or send a note to let me know:

  • What would you love to see more of this year?

  • More affirmations? More customs? Certain stones or styles?

  • Blog topics, workshops, digital offerings, or something new entirely?

Your voice helps guide what comes next.

And if this message resonated with you, please consider forwarding this email to a friend or family member who might appreciate a little mindfulness, beauty, and intention in their life this year. It’s one of the simplest ways to support a small handmade business—and to make sure no one misses out on what’s unfolding.

Thank you for walking this path with me. 🌿
