Bay of Fundy Quartz Ring size 8

This gift from the Bay of Fundy is a copper-hued quartz from my personally picked and tumbled collection. It could be considered a hematoid quartz due to the iron content that affects the colour of the quartz. It is captured using the Tiffany soft solder method and the base of the quartz sits directly on the skin. The band is reclaimed copper in a single-wire style. 

Quartz is said to be a stone of clarity and innocence. It can help dispel the negative and heighten intuition. Carry it for good luck.

Copper, the great conductor and the metal of the magician, amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling and grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
