Picture Jasper and Copper Necklace

Picture jasper is a powerful grounding stone that promotes connection to the earth. Some view this stone as a direct message from the Earth itself, instilling a sense of proportion, bringing comfort, alleviating fear, and cultivating harmony. This unisex pendant measures 2" by .75" and hangs from a hefty 20" reclaimed leather braid.

Copper, the great conductor and the metal of the magician, amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channeling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper is the symbol of eternal life, and, although non-precious, is one of the oldest and most celebrated metals known to man. It has long been used to aid in tissue repair, blood support, and increasing vitality.

The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway household wiring, in support of my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
