Rose Quartz Copper and Sterling Necklace

This Rose Quartz trapezoid bead has been framed in a copper and sterling silver weave and patinated. The pendant measures 1.5" tall and .75" wide. It hangs from an 18.5" long maroon reclaimed leather braid that enhances the pink of the rose quartz. 

Rose quartz is considered the stone of love, gentleness, and healing. It is associated with the heart chakra and is said to link one with the Great Mother.

Copper, the great conductor and the metal of the magician, amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling and grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
