Black agate is often associated with protection, grounding, emotional steadiness, and inner strength. It has a calm, anchoring sort of energy — less dramatic fireworks, more steady yourself and carry on, you glorious swamp witch.
It’s a beautiful stone for people who want support that feels strong, quiet, and dependable.

This piece is part of my Mermaid Tail collection, and I love how the black agate gives this one a slightly moodier, deeper-water feel. The raw copper tail keeps the design playful and fluid, while the dark stone brings it back down to earth.
Stylistically, I’d call this one pretty versatile. It leans a touch whimsical because, well... mermaid tail... but the dark stone and clean lines keep it from feeling overly sweet. I could see it working beautifully for anyone drawn to ocean symbolism, sea-witch energy, or pieces that feel magical without shouting about it.
No glue. No moulds. No factory-made fish nonsense.
Just stone, copper, hand tools, and a maker who apparently cannot resist turning rocks into mythical sea creatures.
