This striking carnelian pendant, crafted from reclaimed copper, measures 2.5" tall by 2" wide, making it a bold yet wearable statement piece. The centerpiece is a chunky, free-form carnelian bead with deep, rich red hues, thoughtfully repurposed from a broken necklace to give it new life and character. Wrapped meticulously in a herringbone weave, the stone is securely framed by a hand-planished circular copper setting that has been carefully patinated, polished, and sealed to ensure lasting beauty and durability. Why Copper?

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling and grounding and, thus, is considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission: "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
