This Carnelian and Copper Pendant showcases a beautifully re-purposed Carnelian bead, salvaged from a broken necklace, highlighting its rich banding and vibrant color. The bead is expertly framed by an 18-gauge reclaimed copper circle, hammered to add texture and visual interest. Surrounding the bead is a delicate Herringbone weave, securely attaching it to the frame while enhancing its intricate design. Measuring 2.5 inches tall by 2 inches wide, this pendant combines sustainable craftsmanship with striking aesthetics, making it a unique statement piece that adds warmth and character to any outfit.
Carnelians, known for being a stone of courage, endurance, energy, leadership, creativity, and motivation, have inspired and protected us throughout history thanks to their bright, rich colouring. It is excellent for channelling and grounding and, thus, is considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission: "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
