Lapis Lazuli and Copper Link Bracelet

This exquisite bracelet was created from repurposed materials as part of the AG Collection. This link bracelet features matte finish Lapis Lazuli square beads wrapped in reclaimed copper. The bracelet measures 8" long and is adjustable to 9.5" with 1.5" chain extender. The herringbone pattern of the chain links is reminiscent of a peacock feather, which is  symbolic in many cultures. For me, in these pieces, it is "the eye of compassion" that rings truest. The spirit of AG lives on in each piece of this collection. 

Lapis Lazuli is thought to enhance one's spiritual awareness and psychic abilities when the third eye chakra is balanced. It is also associated with the throat chakra. Historically, Lapis Lazuli has been considered a stone of protection and strength, with ancient civilizations like the Egyptians using it in jewelry and amulets.

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
