Lapis Lazuli and Reclaimed Copper Pendant
Lapis Lazuli and Reclaimed Copper Pendant
Behold this one-of-a-kind marvel from the AG Collection! Adorned with a herringbone stitch in its center, this lapis lazuli pendant was crafted with repurposed materials and connected to its heavy gauge frame with heat-torched balled wires. Its reclaimed copper detailing has been fully patinated, polished, and sealed for lasting beauty. Spirals embody the cyclic transformation of nature and life. The wavy lines symbolize progress and movement, indicating our human capacity to grow, learn, and adapt as time passes. The spirit of AG lives on in the symbolism of each piece of this collection.
Lapis Lazuli is thought to enhance one's spiritual awareness and psychic abilities when the third eye chakra is balanced. It is also associated with the throat chakra. Historically, Lapis Lazuli has been considered a stone of protection and strength, with ancient civilizations like the Egyptians using it in jewelry and amulets.

- Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channeling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid in tissue repair, blood support, and increasing vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, in support of my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
