Lapis Lazuli Viking Knit Necklace

This exquisite necklace was created from repurposed materials as part of the AG Collection. This lapis lazuli bar drop pendant has three matte finished Lapis Lazuli square beads and hangs from a 24" Viking Knit chain. The pendant is 2.75" tall and .25" wide and is embellished with an organic design of torched, balled wires.  The reclaimed copper has been deeply patinated, polished, and sealed. The spirit of AG lives on in the symbolism of each piece of this collection.

Lapis Lazuli is thought to enhance one's spiritual awareness and psychic abilities when the third eye chakra is balanced. It is also associated with the throat chakra. Historically, Lapis Lazuli has been considered a stone of protection and strength, with ancient civilizations like the Egyptians using it in jewelry and amulets.

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
