Moss Agate is associated with steady growth, patience and connection to the natural world. Emerald brings the symbolism of renewal, compassion and wisdom guided by the heart, while Green Aventurine is linked with optimism and new possibilities.
Together, these stones create an earthy alliance for tending what matters—roots before branches, patience before harvest and trust in the life quietly forming beneath the surface.

This piece was created to be worn from either side. Image 0209 shows the front, where small copper beads add an ornamental pathway across the raw Emerald. The reverse reveals more of the stones’ natural surfaces and the root-like copper structure holding them securely.
I love that the two faces are not identical. One feels adorned and intentional; the other is rugged and untamed. Both belong to the same story—because growth is rarely tidy, and frankly, neither is gardening.
The reclaimed copper was stripped, shaped and given a dark patina to emphasize every woven line. I protected that finish with Renaissance Wax, a microcrystalline wax developed for museum conservation in London. I chose it because it provides the least obtrusive protection possible; however, it will gradually wear away with handling and time, allowing the copper to continue developing its own living finish.
No glue was used. You will receive the exact one-of-a-kind necklace shown.
