Penannular Brooch Copper and Carnelian

This ancient penannular design is still going strong! It will hold your cloak or shawl closed in true Viking style! This pin measures 2.25' in diameter and is 3.0" to the tip of the pin. Made from reclaimed copper, hand planished, and embellished with beautiful carnelian for courage, strength, vitality, confidence, and action.

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channeling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid in tissue repair, blood support, and increasing vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, in support of my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
