This intriguing, raw malachite specimen is encased in a reclaimed copper wrap to protect its bubbles and show it off!  The copper wires are left in their raw state as well, and will patina naturally over time. What a perfect combination! This unisex pendant is 2" tall and 1.25" wide, and the bail is adorned with small copper beads. Did you know that copper is what gives malachite its beautiful colour? 

With its rich green hues and mesmerizing patterns, malachite has long been cherished as a stone of transformation, protection, and deep emotional healing. Known for absorbing negative energies, malachite is believed to encourage personal growth, break old patterns, and bring balance to the heart.

Materials

  • Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channeling as well as grounding, thus considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid in tissue repair, blood support, and increasing vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, in support of my eco-friendly mission; "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
