This gleaming raw red calcite point is embraced by a heavy gauge reclaimed copper that has been carefully patinated, polished and sealed. The copper wires nestle into the crevices of the stunning red calcite in a protective embrace! The simple braided bail gives the wrap a timeless, unisex Celtic look. Hang it from a leather lace for the perfect finish.

Red calcite is believed to enhance grounding, vitality, and emotional balance. It is often associated with the root chakra and the red colour of this crystal is often associated with creativity, passion, and motivation. Red calcite is thought to enhance self-confidence and courage.

Why Copper?

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling and grounding and, thus, is considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission: "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
