Shungite is traditionally associated with protection, grounding, purification, and energetic boundaries. Its energy has a deep, steady reputation—the metaphysical equivalent of closing the door, turning off the phone, and reclaiming your peace.
The tiny natural flecks of pyrite bring another layer of symbolism, traditionally connected with confidence, vitality, prosperity, and abundance.
Together they make an appealing combination for anyone drawn to the idea of being grounded, protected, and still open to good things finding their way in.
Very sensible magic, really.

This one demanded patience.
The entire edge is worked in an intricate fine-wire weave, creating a detailed, almost textile-like frame around the smooth shungite. Once patinated, all those tiny woven structures came alive beautifully against the dark stone.
And then there are those little pyrite flecks.
They don’t shout. They just occasionally catch the light and remind you that even a nearly black stone can hide a bit of treasure.
Stylistically, this piece feels wonderfully unisex to me—dark, substantial, minimal in colour but rich in texture. Witch, warlock, rock hound, minimalist, mysterious stranger in the corner booth... everybody’s invited.
No glue. No factory shortcuts. Just stone, copper, hand tools, and quite a lot of squinting at very small wire.

Copper carries warmth, energy, and transformation. It connects the old to the new, the practical to the symbolic, and in this case, wraps the whole story together one very tiny wire at a time.
