Some trees wait for the sunrise. Sunroot appears to have grown directly from it.

I formed this Tree of Life from raw reclaimed copper, twisting its roots, trunk and reaching branches inside a handwoven circular frame. Lemon jade chips glow among the branches like tender leaves illuminated by the first light of morning.

Instead of hiding the fastening behind the neck, I brought it boldly to the front. Two copper-finished ends of reclaimed braided leather meet just above the tree in a handmade hook-and-loop closure. The clasp becomes part of the design—and thankfully eliminates the usual behind-the-neck gymnastics.

The Tree of Life symbolizes ancestry, growth and the connection between Earth and spirit. Lemon jade is traditionally associated with optimism, abundance, self-trust and the confidence to move forward.

Together, they tell a story of rooted radiance: knowing where you belong while allowing yourself to grow toward the light.

The Tree of Life measures approximately 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) in diameter and hangs from 30 inches of reclaimed braided leather for a long, dramatic silhouette.

Stone Energy

Lemon jade is traditionally associated with optimism, abundance, discernment and quiet confidence. Its bright energy feels like morning sunlight filtering through new leaves—hopeful without being pushy about it.

MoM Notes

This piece was intentionally left as raw copper, with no added patina, wax or protective coating. The copper will naturally deepen and change with time, touch and wear, creating a finish shaped by its keeper.
If you prefer brighter copper, gently polish it with a soft jewellery cloth while avoiding the gemstone chips and leather. Raw copper may occasionally leave temporary green marks where it meets skin or moisture; this is a normal reaction of the metal.
The reclaimed leather carries natural variations from its previous life. Keep it dry and avoid perfumes, oils and chemical cleaners to help preserve its character.
