This rich red agate triangle dangles from a hand planished reclaimed copper frame. It has been patinated to accentuate the textures of the hammering. The pendant measures 2.5" tall by 1.75" wide. 

Agates, in general, are said to provide strength and courage, help attain true potential, and enhance self-esteem, growth, and wisdom. Red agate is associated with the Root Chakra and thus is a grounding stone. It dispels negative energy and provides balance.

Why Copper?

Copper is the great conductor and the metal of the magician. It amplifies the energies of the stones it accompanies. It is excellent for channelling and grounding and, thus, is considered the conduit between heaven and earth. Copper has long been used to aid tissue repair, blood support, and increase vitality. The larger gauges of copper used in my pieces have been reclaimed from castaway wiring, supporting my eco-friendly mission: "Jewelry with a re-purpose!".
